Harpist to play at Crisfield Wesleyan Church

CRISFIELD — Joy Slavens will be in concert playing her harp at the 6 p.m. Sunday service Feb. 22 at Crisfield Wesleyan Church on Lawsonia Road. A Laurel area resident, Mrs. Slavens teaches over 40 students in piano and harp and is currently the pianist and assistant music director at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Seaford.
At her church she leads a harp ensemble called Expressions of Joy and performs often for churches, weddings, funerals and special occasions.
