Summer programs offer free breakfast, lunch this summer

BALTIMORE — Students taking part in one of seven camps or classroom experiences this summer in Somerset County will be provided free breakfast and lunch through the Maryland Food Bank’s Summer Club Program.

It Takes A Village in Crisfield, St. James Camp Right in Westover, along with the Garland Hayward Youth Center, Princess Anne Townhouses, TLC at Washington High School, the Somerset County Migrant Program and Eastern Shore Psychological Services all in Princess Anne are part of the MSB Summer Club.

In addition to two meals there are activities and educational opportunities taking place to keep kids safe and out of trouble.
Some of the programs run up to five days a week and started as early as June 22 and end as late as Aug. 20. Contact the sponsoring agency for more details, or visit www.mdfoodbank.org/our-programs/summer-clubs.

The County Times is delivered weekly to Crisfield and the surrounding Somerset County region.
