Princess Anne Police reports

PRINCESS ANNE — The Princess Anne Police Department posts the following incidents and arrests.

  • On 2-21-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Cassim O Akinsola Tiamiyu, 28, of Princess Anne, Maryland for malicious destruction of property. The arrest stemmed from an investigation of several malicious destruction of property complaints in the Talon’s Square South apartment complex. Tiamiyu was charged with two counts of malicious destruction of property less than $1,000.00, disorderly conduct, and failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order. Tiamiyu was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a temporary commitment and was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.
  • On 2-21-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Allegra Deashia Hicklin, 20, of Princess Anne, Maryland for making a false statement to a uniformed police officer. The arrest stemmed from officers responding to the Arden’s Run apartment complex located off of UMES Boulevard to disperse a large crowd.   Hicklin was charged with making a false statement, trespassing, disturbing the peace, failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order, disorderly conduct, obstructing and hindering, resisting arrest, and assault second degree. Hicklin was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $20,000.00 bond. Hicklin was subsequently released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center.

 

  • On 2-21-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Samuel Sahr Yarjah, 23, of Princess Anne, Maryland for burglary third degree. The arrest stemmed from an on-going burglary investigation at 30514 William P. Hytche Boulevard. Yarjah was charged with burglary third degree, four counts of burglary fourth degree/dwelling, six counts of burglary fourth degree/permit tool use, burglary fourth degree/tools, and malicious destruction of property less than $1,000.00. Yarjah was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued a $10,000.00 unsecure bond.

 

  • On 2-20-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Melissa Victoria Brown, 38, of Princess Anne, Maryland on an outstanding District Court bench warrant for failure to appear. Brown was seen by a District Court Commissioner who released Brown on personal recognizance.

 

  • On 2-20-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Herve Fonkoua Fohom, 22, of Montgomery Village, Maryland for disorderly conduct. The arrest stemmed while officers were conducting traffic control in the Talon’s Square South apartment complex located off of UMES Boulevard. Fohom was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct along with a civil citation for possession of marijuana. Fohom was released from custody upon being issued his citations.

 

  • On 2-20-16, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Deandrea Chandel Scott, 22, of Springdale, Maryland for trespassing. The arrest stemmed from officers conducting patrol checks in the Talon’s Square South apartment complex located off of UMES Boulevard. Scott had been previously advised to not enter the property and was later observed by officers on the property. Scott was issued a criminal citation for trespassing and was released from custody.

 

  • On 2-18-16, the Princess Anne Police Department charged Justin Kijana Clermont, 20, of Bowie, Maryland for possession of marijuana under ten grams. The charge stemmed from Clermont being found to be in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop. Clermont was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana under ten grams and was released from custody.
