Candidate forum for U.S. Senate candidates

WYE MILLS — The Eastern Shore Leagues of Women Voters will conduct a candidate forum for U. S. Senate candidates on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Todd Center for the Performing Arts, Chesapeake College, Wye Mills, at 5:30 p.m.

Those who have agreed to participate are Kathy Szeliga (R) and Margaret Flowers (GRN). Chris Van Hollen (D) declined to participate in the forum.

All candidates will respond to questions posed by the Leagues and will take screened questions from the audience. Forums provide the opportunity for voters to become familiar with the candidates before the election on November 8. For more details, contact Nancy Smith, Event Coordinator, phone: 410-639-2739; email: nismith@verizon.net.

The County Times is delivered weekly to Crisfield and the surrounding Somerset County region.
