United Methodist Women of Asbury plan Fall Festival for Oct. 1

CRISFIELD — The Asbury United Methodist Women are once again planning their annual Fall Festival to be held on Saturday Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as Asbury United Methodist Church, 3380 Lawsonia Road. Several favorites will be returning, including the Country Store (homemade jams, jellies, relish and nuts), Silent Auction, Bake Shop, Promise Tree, and the Gift Shop. The Asbury MYF will be taking care of the Attic Treasures room.

All proceeds will benefit youth activities and ministries. Lunch will be served, once again featuring homemade soups, sandwiches and our delicious homemade ice cream. Mums, pumpkins and assorted nuts will be on sale as well.

Everyone welcome to come out for a time of great fellowship and fundraising for the church. If you have anything you would like to donate, or if you would like to volunteer your time to set-up or work the morning of the festival, please call the church office at 410-968-0540 or Bea Marshal at 410-968-2472.

The County Times is delivered weekly to Crisfield and the surrounding Somerset County region.
