Episcopal women invited to learn more about forming a Daughters of the King chapter

PRINCESS ANNE — The Daughters of the King (DOK) is a women’s organization of the Episcopal Church. Founded in 1885 and it currently includes over 25,000 women and girls in the U.S. and about 2,500 in other countries.

A Daughter pledges herself to the practice of prayer, service and evangelism dedicated to the spread of Christ’s kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of the parish. Daughters fulfill their rule of life primarily through prayer and service in their parish.

In this region there is a DOK chapter the Holy Comforter at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Oxford.
