Free training offered to CNAs to advance their careers

SALISBURY — The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering free training classes for current certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to advance their careers. The classes begin on Monday, June 8, and will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., on the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.

The “CNA Advantage” class includes 55 hours of classroom instruction and 45 hours in a clinical externship at a local health care facility.
